These are primarily hybrid roles at our Green Bay facility, and onsite and hybrid opportunities are also available in Waukesha and Madison.\nConsideration for a specific level and team will be determined through the interview process. Candidates will likely meet with multiple team leaders in a streamlined process to determine best fit.\nRelocation assistance may be available for candidates outside of a commutable distance to one of our facilities.\nThe Electrical Engineer will use engineering principles and design software to design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems and/or components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nAssist the design team in machinery design from inception to completion that is extensive and complex, involving original design work and selection of components and materials.\nDevelop engineering specifications and original design concepts. \nProvide detailed technical analysis of equipment.\nProvide machine process audits and make recommendations to improve line efficiencies.\nTest and debug equipment to isolate defects\nPrepare layouts using CAD tools\nEvaluate moderately complex designs; make engineering changes\nEvaluate new parts\nPrepare schematics, assemblies, detailed drawings, and bills of material (BOM) for moderately complex equipment\nSupport manufacturing/assembly teams\nMay travel to customer site to support field teams with technical assistance as required\nOther duties as assigned\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor’s degree (4-year) in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related engineering field required\nMinimum 0-2 years of experience for Level I consideration\nEplan or AutoCAD Electrical experience preferred\nExperience with PLC, HMI, Servo\nManufacturing experience preferred\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:\nMust be able to perform all Level I duties competently\nAbility to read and interpret moderately complex electrical schematics and mechanical assembly layouts\nWorking knowledge of CAD and engineering systems\nStrong logical and reasoning abilities\nProblem-solving ability\nWorking knowledge of manufacturing methods; electrical design and project management\nVerbal and written communication skills\nAbility to work in customer’s facility and manage that relationship\nCOMPETENCES:\nCustomer Focus - Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.\nInstills Trust - Gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.\nDrives Results - Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances.\nCommunicates Effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.\nOptimizes Work Processes - Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nTypically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer\nStand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about occasionally\nLift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs. occasionally\nOccasional exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards\nTravel by air or car occasionally\nAbility to travel up to 15%\nThis job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by team members within this classification.
