Afinitas is part of BW Forsyth Partners, LLC, the investment group of global manufacturing and engineering consulting firm Barry-Wehmiller, a $3 billion organization with nearly 12,000 team members, united by a common belief: to use the power of business to build a better world.Job Description:\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES\nOperate an air-assisted paint gun while wearing proper PPE.\nPrep and mask items to be painted.\nOperate both overhead and jib-style cranes.\nOperate a downdraft paint booth.\nPerform required preventative maintenance in a timely manner.\nUnderstand blueprints, sketches, or specifications.\nAbility to inspect structures or materials for the operation of paint booths.\nAll other job duties assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nHS Diploma or GED required.\nAt least 3-5 years’ experience\nCertified or ability to certify in both forklift and crane operation.\nKnowledge of the use of an air-assisted paint gun\nExperience using tape measures, rulers, protractors, and combination squares.\nMust be able to lift up to 75 lbs.\nAbility to pass the health requirements for a respirator fit test for painting equipment\nAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities.\nAbility to work individually as well as in a team environment.\nAbility to obtain and operate mobile equipment needed to perform essential functions.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nWorks in a plant/manufacturing environment that involves the use of industrial machinery and chemicals.
