The successful candidate should have experience in executing projects for the Oil & Gas/FMCG/Advanced tech industries with the highest level of quality, cost effectiveness, and a focus on safety. The successful candidate will work with licensed engineers and other experienced designers to develop instrument & Control drawings and deliverables. The candidate must have excellent communication skills and be able to work with other engineering disciplines, sometimes across multiple offices.\nResponsibilities:\nInstrumentation and control system engineering design for industrial, manufacturing, and utilities projects.\nPreparation of Datasheets, selection & sizing of instruments & valves, vendor document reviews, checking & approval of design deliverables\nPreparation of Hook-up & Installation drawings.\nPreparation of Cause-and-effect matrix\nPreparation of Wiring & loop sheets, instrument index, Instrument lists, I/O lists, JB & Panel location layouts.\nPreparation of Cable Schedule, Cable Tray sizing & loading schedule.\nPreparation of Cable routing, Cable Tray & Conduit layout, Grounding layout & support drawings.\nPreparation of BOM & Bulk MTOs.\nBasic understanding of control systems, review of P&ID, Knowledge on hazardous areas\nResponsible for instrumentation design on multi-discipline engineering projects.\nRequirements:\n12+ years of experience in the engineering in I&C design & detailed engineering.\nBackground in engineering consultancy or EPC\nGood Experience with Navisworks is preferable.\nExperience in AutoCAD with detailed understanding of Drafting and Design standards is essential.\nBasic understanding of Instrumentation design concepts & Deliverables.\nExperience in SPI /InTools desirable.\nConversant with International codes and Standards\nProven ability to meet client deadlines.\nAt Barry-Wehmiller we recognize that people come with a wealth of experience and talent beyond just the technical requirements of a job.
