Afinitas is part of BW Forsyth Partners, LLC, the investment group of global manufacturing and engineering consulting firm Barry-Wehmiller, a $3 billion organization with nearly 12,000 team members, united by a common belief: to use the power of business to build a better world.Job Description:\n\nJob Description\nAfinitas is Hiring for a Machine Operator.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES\nStartup and shut down machines as recommended by maintenance\n\nOperate the machine in such a manner to meet Afinitas quality standards\n\nOperate the machine in both a safe and productive manner\n\nPerform required preventative maintenance\n\nRead prints and complete miters meeting Afinitas standards\n\nSetup and program saws for automatic cutting operations\n\nAll other duties as assigned\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nQualified operator for all three saws\n\nQualified to read prints and complete miters meeting Hawkeye standards\n\nQualified to setup and program all three saws for automatic cutting operations\n\nStrong verbal and written interpersonal/communication skills required\n\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail\n\nAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities\n\nAbility to work individually as well as in a team environment\n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nWorks in a plant/manufacturing environment that involves the use of industrial machinery and chemicals.
