Afinitas is part of BW Forsyth Partners, LLC, the investment group of global manufacturing and engineering consulting firm Barry-Wehmiller, a $3 billion organization with nearly 12,000 team members, united by a common belief: to use the power of business to build a better world.Job Description:\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES\nPerform routine scheduled preventative maintenance on building systems and facility equipment.\nMaintain a log of all repairs and costs associated with equipment\nMonitor, troubleshoot and repair equipment and facilities including but not limited to electrical, plumbing, hydraulic, HVAC, structural and security systems.\nManage repair items and supplies inventory.\nManage and direct the activities of assistants assigned to in-house maintenance, janitorial and groundskeeping work.\nInteract with qualified maintenance, janitorial, installation and groundskeeping subcontractors as it pertains to the following.\nDevelop scope of work requirements.\nResearch and obtain competitive pricing.\nAssist with contract negotiations.\nMonitor and coordinate activities.\nEvaluate performance and report findings to executive management.\nOther duties as required\nQUALIFICATIONS\n5 years of experience of maintenance in an industrial manufacturing environment\n480 volt 3 phase knowledge preferred\nExperience with CNC equipment repair\nHydraulic knowledge preferred\nExperience with forklift maintenance\nStrong verbal and written interpersonal/communication skills required\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail\nAbility to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities\nAbility to work individually as well as in a team environment\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nWorks in a plant/manufacturing environment that involves the use of industrial machinery and chemicals. Employee must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required at the location.\nCompensation:\nThe approximate pay range for this position is $27.50 - $33/hour.
