In this role, you will ensure inventory integrity, support production and fulfillment needs, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. The role will require attention to detail, ERP system proficiency, and effective communication with internal teams.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES\nReceive packages from carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, LTL) and internal fabrication team.\n\nOpen, unpack and inspect materials to verify part numbers, quantities and item accuracy related to purchase orders.\n\nProcess receipts in ERP system and update inventory records.\n\nRun reports including MO shortage, FS shortage, best bin, and special locations.\n\nTransport items to/from fabrication and assembly as needed.\n\nTransport materials to/from local outside services or vendors.\n\nSanitize incoming parts by removing OEM identifiers (i.e. stickers, plates, etc.) for Aftermarket.\n\nLabel parts with internal identifiers.\n\nCoordinate with supply chain/purchasing to resolve discrepancies such as incorrect part, quantity issues, damaged goods or purchase order holds.\n\nStock, stage and maintain inventory/bin items in an accurate, efficient and orderly manner.\n\nPerform inventory cycle counts.\n\nPick materials for assembly or parts fulfillment, ensuring timely delivery:\n\nVerify location, quantity and item accuracy, reconcile differences.\n\nResolve any picking issues.\n\nPresent parts and materials for assembly in organized manner.\n\nProcess inventory transactions and shipments in ERP system.\n\nPack items for shipment:\n\nSelect appropriate packaging (box, pallet, skid, crate).\n\nBuild crates/boxes as required.\n\nPack and secure materials for LTL or parcel shipping.\n\nComplete shipping documentation including destination labels, bills-of-lading and commercial invoices.\n\nDetermine and schedule shipping method (CIP, Ex Works, Domestic, International).\n\nCommunicate with customer, project management or customer service reps for international documentation.\n\nFor parts fulfillment, monitor shipping in-box for updates, early picks, and missing information.\n\nFor equipment, coordinate with assembly team for outgoing shipments.\n\nDeliver on order quality by ensuring all parts and equipment orders are accurate and packaged for safe delivery.\n\nWork closely with planning, supply chain and other production team members to resolve issues.\n\nFollow all safety guidelines, including wearing required PPE, and maintain a clean, organized work area.\n\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\n\nBasic Qualifications & Requirements\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\n\n1+ years of warehouse or material handling experience preferred.\n\nMust possess valid driver’s license and maintain clean driving record, if required to drive Company vehicles.\n\nAt Barry-Wehmiller we recognize that people come with a wealth of experience and talent beyond just the technical requirements of a job.
