We are seeking an experienced Applications Engineering Leader to build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team focused on customer success, process innovation, and technical excellence.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nLead and develop a team of Applications Engineers supporting customer tooling, process development, custom engineering solutions, and technical support.\nDrive complex customer projects from concept through implementation and customer acceptance.\nPartner with customers to solve technical manufacturing challenges and deliver innovative solutions.\nProvide technical leadership for process development, tooling design, validation activities, and new product extensions.\nCollaborate across Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality, Service, Sales, and Program Management to ensure successful project execution.\nGuide engineering best practices, technical standards, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nSupport key customer interactions, executive discussions, and technical presentations.\nRecruit, mentor, and develop future engineering leaders while building a strong culture of accountability, innovation, and customer focus.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field; equivalent experience considered.\n10+ years of engineering experience\n5+ years leading engineering teams, technical programs, or customer-focused engineering organizations.\nStong background in tooling design, process development, customer validation, manufacturing equipment, and technical problem solving.\nExperience managing complex customer projects and cross-functional engineering initiatives.\nExcellent leadership, communication, and customer engagement skills.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience supporting medical device manufacturing equipment.\nBackground in Applications Engineering, Product Development, Tooling Engineering, or Sustaining Engineering.\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.\nExperience working with regulated manufacturing environments.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nMinimal time will be spent near fumes or airborne particles, near toxic or caustic chemicals, in outdoor weather conditions, with risk of electrical shock, and with explosives. Sometime will be spent working near moving mechanical parts.
