In this role, you will work with a team of industry experts to help the world’s leading companies solve their most difficult problems. You will join our Construction Practice and partner with seasoned leaders, technical specialists, and subject matter experts to deliver the highest quality solutions to our clients with consistency and accuracy.\nWhat You’ll Do\nYou'll work individually and in teams to support capital projects and implement solutions for our clients. Together, you will help our clients make critical changes to improve their performance and realize their most important goals.\nManage construction projects in the food, beverage, and life science manufacturing sectors in collaboration with our in-house design teams, licensed professional engineers, governing authorities, and subcontractors \nMange project execution from inception to close-out, including planning, scheduling, resources, budgets, and coordination of construction resources and activities \nGenerate accurate monthly project control reports \nManages project risk associated with contracts, insurance, and notices-to-proceed \nCreate and review project estimates based on conceptual and early project design packages \nManage the entire contractor bidding process including assembling bid packages, conducting job walks, evaluating bids, and coordinating contractor mobilization activities \nReview subcontractor contracts and proposals for conformity to the project schedule and scope \nCoordinate subcontractor and supplier requirements to meet project schedule operations \nEnsure compliance with project plans and specifications \nAssume responsibility for safe, quality, timely, and cost-effective execution of on-site construction project work \nEnsure that all materials and methods of construction conform to company, industry, and regulatory standards, specifications, and requirements \nOversee jobsite, planning, progress, and closeout meetings \nAnalyze subcontractor change requests \nManage project safety \nMake an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening that relationship with our clients and team \nWhat You’ll Bring\nA minimum of 12 years of experience in construction roles (project engineer, site superintendent, construction project manager) \nA minimum of eight years of experience as a construction manager including industrial structures experience \nProject responsibility experience with an A&E design build firm (preferred) \nExperience as a construction manager with industrial structures in the food, beverage, consumer products, pharmaceutical, or related industries (preferred) \nSuccessful completion of industrial projects with values ranging from $50K to $50M \nA working knowledge of process systems and the ability to read P&IDs \nExperience negotiating contracts and putting bids together for final presentation \nProficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, Timberline, AutoCAD, or Revit software systems \nAn understanding of prime contracts requirements including schedules, scopes, budgets, and performance expectations \nManufacturing site experience (preferred) \nA willingness to travel for project requirements including installation and start-up activities, client and company sponsored meetings, trainings, industry related seminars, forums, and conventions \nA willingness to relocate to the local area (relocation assistance is available for highly qualified applicants) \nA bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, or a related technical degree (preferred) \nOSHA 10- or 30-hour certification \nConstruction project management certification (preferred) \nOur culture and commitment to our people is what sets us apart.
