This position will collaborate with other departments, to resolve issues, prevent recurrence, and continuously improve quality culture and sustained product quality.\nThis position is located in Green Bay, WI. This position will be required to be onsite full-time in Green Bay, WI. We are open to candidates that are interested in relocating to Green Bay.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nAnalyze and solve problems on a wide variety of quality issues related to manufacturing processes such as welding, machining, painting, assembly, and test as well as components in the areas of Machining, Fab/Weld, Assembly, and Supply Chain.\nInvestigate and correct internal, external and interplant supplier quality issues.\nCoordinate containment and corrective action activities.\nThoroughly document quality issues and quality performance for Root Cause & Corrective Action.\nLead process audits and other quality systems related projects.\nUnderstand details of engineering drawings and specifications to aid in assessment of conformance or non-conformance of a variety of conditions in manufactured and commodity components.\nWork with various leaders, to facilitate problem solving, supplier corrective action, evaluation, development and communication of quality improvement plans and metrics.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary leaders and colleagues to achieve organizational goals and objectives. Actively support continuous improvement efforts to drive quality and supplier excellence within all aspects of the Quality Management systems.\nCoach and train leaders and their team members as needed in Root Cause Analysis (using problem solving tools like 3 Legged 5 Why), resulting in permanent Corrective Actions.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited college or university\n5-10+ years of experience in a related manufacturing role such as Quality Engineering, Manufacturing/Process Engineering, Supplier Quality.\nExperience with engineering drawings, geometric and dimensional tolerancing, engineering and manufacturing requirements, and engineering specifications.\nExperience with coaching and sustaining Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) problem solving process (using problem solving tools like 3 Legged 5 Why - Process, Detection, Systemic), resulting in implementation of permanent Corrective Actions.\nExperience successfully influencing, leading and directing others who are not direct reports\nExperience working with both internal & external customers to drive standard practices around true Root Cause Analysis using appropriate problem-solving tools.\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:\nDemonstrated proficiency using Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) problem solving process such 3 Legged 5 Why.\nDemonstrated proficiency using MS Excel and PowerPoint.\nWorking knowledge of PPAP, PFEMA/Control Plans, LEAN, ISO Standards such as 9001:2015\nProficiency in data analysis tools such as Pareto and Statistical Analysis.\nCOMPETENCIES\nCustomer Focus - Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.\nInstills Trust - Gaining the confidence and trust of others through honesty, integrity, and authenticity.\nDrives Results - Consistently achieving results, even under tough circumstances.\nCommunicates Effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.\nOptimizes Work Processes - Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.\nEnsures Accountability - Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments.\nDrives Engagement - Creating a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives.\nPlans and Aligns - Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.\nManages Complexity - Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.\nLEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITY\nThis position does not directly supervise other associates.\nWORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS\nTypically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computer\nStand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about occasionally\nLift, move or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs. occasionally\nOccasional exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards\nTravel by air or car occasionally\nThis job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by team members within this classification.
