Our program is designed to tone muscle and maximize fat loss, while spiking the metabolism for up to 48 hours following the class.\nPlease be aware that smoking is prohibited in all indoor areas of Barry’s studios and corporate offices.\nAbout the role\nThe Manager, Instructor Recruitment plays a dynamic, hands-on role supporting full-cycle recruitment, interviewing, and hiring for Barry’s instructor population. Reporting to the Director, People Acquisition, this role partners with studio leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to meet instructor hiring needs across existing studios and new studio openings.\nThe Manager, Instructor Recruitment is responsible for executing effective recruitment strategies, maintaining a strong pipeline of instructor talent, and delivering a consistent, high-quality candidate experience. This role supports standardized hiring practices, strengthens stakeholder partnerships, and contributes to instructor staffing and the continued growth of the Barry’s brand through effective talent acquisition processes and measurable results.\nWhat you'll do\nInstructor Recruitment\nManage day-to-day instructor recruitment activities, including sourcing strategies, candidate pipeline development, interview scheduling, open calls, and instructor auditions across all regions in partnership with Director, Instructor Talent (DOITs)\nExecute consistent instructor hiring practices and recruitment processes across the company\nSupport training and education initiatives related to instructor hiring and interviewing for MTLs, including establishing a consistent process for submitting instructor referrals and prospects\nPartner with People & Culture to ensure instructor recruitment practices align with company-wide hiring standards, policies, and applicable employment guidelines\nExercise discretion and sound judgment when managing instructor recruitment activities and interacting with stakeholders at all levels of the instructor organization\nSupport a diverse and inclusive workforce through equitable sourcing, interviewing, and hiring practices\nImplement recruitment strategies, programs, and campaigns that address current and future instructor staffing needs while reinforcing the Barry’s brand\nIdentify potential instructor talent by attending classes at other fitness studios across markets and assessing alignment with Barry’s brand, culture, and teaching standards\nBuild and maintain effective relationships with studio leaders, DOITs, MTLs, and other stakeholders involved in instructor recruitment\nMaintain strong partnerships with People & Culture and Talent team members to support effective hiring practices and a positive candidate experience\nDevelop an understanding of market-specific staffing needs, workforce challenges, and instructor talent availability\nMonitor relevant fitness industry and talent market trends, sharing insights and recommendations with the Director, People Acquisition to inform recruitment strategies\nTrack recruitment activity and key performance indicators, identify opportunities for process improvement, and provide regular updates on pipeline health, hiring progress, and staffing needs\nMaintain knowledge of the instructor career path and serve as a resource for individuals interested in pursuing instructor opportunities at Barry’s\nTravel to existing and new Barry’s locations as needed to assess staffing needs, build candidate pipelines, and support instructor recruitment\nEvaluate local market demographics and implement sourcing approaches that help build instructor teams reflective Studio Openings\nSupport instructor sourcing, auditioning, selection, and onboarding for new studio openings and expansion into new markets, including travel as needed\nPartner with studio leadership and cross-functional teams to develop instructor pipelines and meet staffing timelines ahead of opening dates\nMonitor recruitment progress for upcoming openings and communicate pipeline updates, hiring needs, and potential staffing challenges to the Director, People Acquisition and relevant stakeholders\nHelp establish local talent pipelines and execute market-specific recruitment initiatives to support successful studio launches\nQualifications\n3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, full-cycle recruiting, or a related recruitment role\nExperience managing multiple open requisitions and recruitment processes simultaneously in a fast-paced environment\nProven ability to source, engage, assess, and hire qualified candidates through a variety of recruitment channels\nExperience building and maintaining talent pipelines and developing sourcing strategies to meet current and future hiring needs\nStrong candidate assessment, interviewing, and stakeholder management skills\nExperience partnering with hiring managers and business leaders to understand hiring needs, align on candidate profiles, and support hiring decisions\nWorking knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), candidate relationship management (CRM) tools, and Microsoft Office\nAbility to track, analyze, and report on recruiting metrics, including pipeline activity, time-to-fill, and
