If you have a passion for excellence and hospitality, we would love to welcome you to our team.\nJob Summary:\nThe Banquet Server is responsible for setting up banquet events, carrying trays, serving guests, and assisting event cleanup to ensure the needs of the client are met.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nDaily set-up and breakdown of food and beverage products for catered events. \nFood preparation for daily activities and scheduled events. \nServing food and beverage product to event participants, vendors, and host clients. \nAssist with event coordination; table set-ups, place settings, serving areas and discarded products.\nAssist with event clean up; on-site or off-site, all plates, dishes, silverware, glassware, linens, chairs, and garbage.\nAssist with moving catering products back to catering kitchen.\nPrint food and product labels and signage for buffets. \nMaintain participation awareness of upcoming catering events and event orders. \nMaintain a clean and professional appearance and uniform. \nCommunicate effectively with guests and managers to handle last minute requests.\nCommunicate effectively with Catering Director and Chefs; assist when needed. \nDue to the nature of our business, team members are expected to be available and work weekends, late evenings, and Holidays, as needed.\nRequirements\nRequired Skills/Abilities:\nExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills.\nWell-organized with ability to take and place food and beverage orders accurately.\nAbility to operate point-of-sale systems.\nEducation and Experience:\nMust be at least sixteen years old (at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages).\nPrevious experience as a server preferred.\nMust successfully complete restaurant training course.\nPhysical Requirements:\nProlonged periods of standing and walking.\nMust be able to lift, balance, and carry trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds.\nADA Disclaimer: In developing this job description care was taken to include all competencies needed to successfully perform in this position.
