If you have a passion for excellence and hospitality, we would love to welcome you to our team.\nJOB PURPOSE:\nThe Dishwasher will ensure that wares for the front and back of the house are clean and sanitized.\nPRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nWashes all wares including pots, plans, flatware, and glasses, by hand or using dishwashers. \nCorrectly places and stores clean equipment, dishes, and utensils in assigned storage areas. \nStocks serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, and other assigned areas with necessary dishes and utensils. \nCleans trash receptacles with water or steam. \nMoves dishwashing supplies and equipment from storage to work area by hand or using hand trucks. \nMay assist in cleaning and preparing various foods for cooking and/or serving, as directed. \nEnsures work areas remain safe, clean, and orderly, adhering to all company, local, and state guidelines regarding health, safety, and sanitation. \nPerforms other related duties as assigned. \nAll Other Duties as Assigned\nRequirements\nQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:\nAbility to work in fast-paced, changing environment.\nAbility to understand and follow directions. \nAbility to understand and meet restaurant standards for health, safety, and excellence. \nAbility to remain alert and focused in an environment that is noisy and fast-paced. \nAbility to work effectively with kitchen staff. \nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:\nRestaurant experience preferred. \nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is:\nFrequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle and feel, and reach with hands and arms. \nOccasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and reach overhead. \nProlonged periods walking or standing. \nMust be able to lift, carry, and place up to 60 pounds at a time. \nMust be able to work days, nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed. \nMust frequently immerse hands in water. \nMust be able to work in a hot and damp environment. \nADA Disclaimer: In developing this job description care was taken to include all competencies needed to successfully perform in this position.
