We provide products and services across four product lines: RF Systems, RF Components, Neuromorphic Processors and Photonics.\nResponsibilities:\nRF Circuit Design: Assist in the design and development of RF circuits, including amplifiers, filters, mixers, oscillators, and antennas, for defense applications.\nTesting and Characterization: Support the testing and characterization of RF circuits and systems using laboratory equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and signal generators.\nPrototype Development: Participate in the prototyping and assembly of RF components and systems for evaluation and testing purposes.\nDocumentation: Create and maintain accurate documentation, including schematics, layout files, test plans, and reports, for RF circuit designs and testing activities.\nCollaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including RF engineers, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to ensure successful project execution.\nProblem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot RF-related issues during design, testing, and integration phases, proposing and implementing effective solutions.\nCompliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in RF engineering and defense-related technologies.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).\n0-2 years of relevant experience in RF circuit design and testing, preferably in the defense industry (internships or co-op experience will be considered).\nStrong understanding of RF engineering principles, including RF circuit theory, transmission line theory, and RF system architecture.\nExperience with laboratory equipment and test instrumentation for RF measurements and analysis.\nFamiliarity with RF PCB layout techniques and RF circuit fabrication processes.\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nEffective communication skills, both verbal and written.\nAbility to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.\nU.S. citizenship and eligibility for security clearance may be required.\nEqual Employment Opportunity Information:\nBascom Hunter is an equal opportunity employer.
