This person will work 100% on-site with Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, and other teams to build and maintain schedules, track progress, identify potential delays, and provide clear information to management.\nThe ideal candidate is someone who is good with details, understands how to manage timelines and priorities, can work with people across different departments, and is comfortable working with data and spreadsheets. Experience with scheduling or project planning is helpful, but we are open to candidates who have the right skills and ability to learn our systems and processes.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and maintain project schedules and timelines.\nTrack milestones, deadlines, progress, and changes.\nIdentify potential delays, scheduling issues, and resource concerns.\nWork with managers and team members to gather and update schedule information.\nAnalyze information and communicate potential impacts to management.\nHelp develop short-term and long-term project forecasts.\nSupport project planning, staffing, and resource needs.\nPrepare reports, status updates, and presentations for management.\nHelp identify solutions when schedules or project plans change.\nMaintain accurate and organized project information.\nWork with Finance and Program Management to support project planning and reporting.\nLearn and use company scheduling and project management systems.\nWhat We're Looking For\nStrong organizational and time-management skills.\nGood analytical and problem-solving ability.\nComfortable working with numbers, data, and spreadsheets.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.\nStrong attention to detail.\nAbility to understand how different tasks and teams affect an overall project.\nGood communication skills and the ability to work with people at all levels.\nAbility to identify problems and ask the right questions.\nComfortable learning new software and business processes.\nBachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Project Management, Operations, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.\nUS citizenship required\nHelpful Experience\nExperience in any of the following areas would be helpful, but is not required:\nProject scheduling or planning\nProject management or project controls\nManufacturing or engineering\nGovernment or aerospace programs\nBudget or financial planning\nResource or staffing planning\nEarned Value Management or similar project tracking\nDeltek or other project management/scheduling software\nMicrosoft Excel and PowerPoint\nWhat Success Looks Like\nProject schedules are accurate, current, and easy to understand.\nPotential problems and delays are identified early.\nManagers have reliable information to make decisions.\nProject teams provide timely and accurate updates.\nThe employee develops a strong understanding of BHT's programs, processes, and systems.\nAdditional Information\nAll positions at Bascom Hunter are subject to background investigations.
