This role supports application development, API and datastore integration, software modernization, and team leadership in an Agile environment.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n Perform full-stack development of cloud-based applications and microservices.\nAnalyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.\nDesign and code new software or modify existing software to add new features.\nDebug existing software and correct defects.\nIntegrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.\nDevelop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories.\nProvide recommendations to improve documentation and software development process standards.\nDevelop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.\nAssist with developing and executing test procedures for software components.\nWrite or review software and system documentation.\nDevelop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, system flow, data usage, and work processes.\nServe as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process used on the project.\nModify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, or improve performance.\nDesign, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models.\nDesign or implement complex database or data repository interfaces and queries.\nRequired Qualifications\n Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, with a CI Polygraph within the last 7 years.\nBachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.\n9 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience.\nExperience with Java, JavaScript frameworks such as React, GitLab, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, and modern datastores including NoSQL, relational, and object stores.\nDemonstrated full-stack development experience across front-end, APIs, and backing datastores.\nDemonstrated experience with Spring Boot microservices, 12-Factor applications, JSON and/or BSON serialization, and CI/CD pipelines.\nPreferred Qualifications\n Familiarity with Spring, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Swagger, and AWS managed services.\nFamiliarity with system requirements decomposition, release planning, CI/CD, test frameworks and automation, Agile methodology, and FOSS/GOTS.\nRequired Education and Experience Equivalency\n Bachelor's Degree with 9 years of experience.\nMaster's Degree with 7 years of experience.\nPhD with 7 years of experience.\nRequired Certifications\n None specified.\nRequired Security Clearance\n Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, with a CI Polygraph within the last 7 years.\nEqual Employment Opportunity\n Base-2 Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
