The role supports mission-focused requirements management, task coordination, data exploitation, enrichment, triage, and analytics capabilities through cloud computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cross-domain transfer systems, and microservices.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n Work with a team of systems integration engineers to deploy release candidates successfully to the production environment.\nParticipate in test, staging, and production deployments.\nIntegrate container-based Appian using Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm, and other DevOpsSec integration tools.\nAssist with the maintenance of services and procedures for a big data pipeline that includes Kafka, Elasticsearch, and internally developed Python and Java microservices running on Kubernetes.\nMonitor automated system integration tests to identify failed modules and components.\nManage individual project priorities, deliverables, and deadlines.\nFoster collaboration among team members to provide quality service and products to the customer.\nRequired Qualifications\n Experience meeting an applicable education and prior relevant experience pathway in the equivalency section.\nExperience with Appian.\nExperience with containerization.\nDevelopment and/or scripting experience, especially Python and Bash.\nExperience with DevOps practices and tools, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools and practices, especially GitLab or Jenkins.\nExperience with Agile practices.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nAbility to work well on a team and independently as a self-starter.\nPreferred Qualifications\n Experience with systems at scale.\nExperience with Kafka or other message-passing systems.\nExperience working on a production or enterprise system.\nCloud infrastructure experience.\nAppian certification.\nExperience with Java.\nExperience with Kubernetes monitoring, including Prometheus and Grafana.\nExperience integrating Appian with PostgreSQL or another database.\nExperience with SALT for deployment automation.\nExperience with GraphQL.\nExperience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, and Logstash, specifically administration experience.\nExperience with Helm and Helmfile.\nPossess at least one DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or higher certification, e.g., CCNA Security, CySA+, Security+ CE, SSCP, CISSP (or Associate).\nAbility to obtain Privileged User Account (PUA) certification per DoD 8570 policy.\nRequired Education and Experience Equivalency\n Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of prior relevant experience.\nMaster's Degree with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.\nRequired Certifications\n None specified.\nRequired Security Clearance\n Active Top Secret/SCI\nEqual Employment Opportunity\n Base-2 Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
