The role involves managing security compliance, Authority to Operate (ATO) processes, continuous monitoring, vulnerability scanning, and incident response within cloud and hybrid environments.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n Ensure documentation of ATO, security compliance, ATO management, continuous monitoring, vulnerability scanning, and incident response.\nImplement and manage security controls, risk assessments, and compliance measures across GovCloud-hosted environments, including Azure and AWS.\nApply knowledge of NIST 800-53 Rev. 5, FedRAMP, DoD RMF, and IL-4/IL-5 security mandates.\nUtilize experience in security information and event management (SIEM), role-based access control (RBAC), vulnerability scanning, and incident response.\nEmploy expertise in cloud-native security tools, Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA), and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).\nManage the Authority to Operate (ATO) process including documentation, submission, and ongoing compliance monitoring.\nDemonstrate successful completion and maintenance of ATOs for programs or capabilities within DoD or federal environments.\nRequired Qualifications\n Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or a related field OR a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience in cybersecurity operations.\nDemonstrated experience implementing and enforcing security controls for cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with DoD security frameworks.\nExperience managing security configurations, conducting penetration testing, and implementing SIEM solutions such as Microsoft Sentinel and AWS Security Hub.\nPerforming risk assessments, continuous security monitoring, and developing mitigation strategies in cloud and hybrid environments.\nAdministering RBAC and enforcing least-privilege access policies for mission-critical applications.\nManaging the ATO lifecycle, including preparation of System Security Plans (SSP), Security Assessment Reports (SAR), and Plans of Action & Milestones (POA&M).\nCoordinating with DoD cybersecurity officials to achieve and sustain
