This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing data transformation workflows for geospatial and non-geospatial datasets.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n Design, implement, and optimize data transformation workflows for geospatial and non-geospatial datasets.\nPerform ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data structuring, and schema management.\nWork with ESRI geospatial data layers, ArcGIS Enterprise, and cloud-based geospatial services.\nUtilize databases including PostgreSQL/PostGIS, SQL Server, and NoSQL.\nManage cloud storage solutions such as AWS S3, Azure Blob, and Google Cloud Storage.\nSupport Kubernetes-hosted geospatial applications.\nRequired Qualifications\n Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Science, Computer Science, or a related field OR a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience in data governance.\nDemonstrated experience in developing and managing data governance frameworks.\nExperience implementing metadata and data cataloging solutions.\nKnowledge of DoD and IC data security policies compliance.\nExperience with tools such as Databricks Unity Catalog, Collibra, Alation, AWS Glue, or Azure Purview.\nPreferred Qualifications\n Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP).\nDAMA Certified Data Governance Professional (DGSP).\nMicrosoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate.\nRequired Education and Experience Equivalency\n Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Information Science, Computer Science, or a related field.\nOR Minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience in data governance.\nRequired Certifications\n None specified.\nRequired Security Clearance\n Active Top Secret/SCI\nEqual Employment Opportunity\n Base-2 Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
