This role supports infrastructure automation, platform operations, cloud services, CI/CD, and system reliability in a primarily on-site SCIF environment.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n Develop Infrastructure as Code and scripting to automate tasks, provision managed services, and build tools.\nPatch, harden, and maintain compliance of RHEL systems.\nInstall, configure, and performance tune Kubernetes, Docker Compose, NiFi, and cloud-native logging and metrics collection tools.\nManage CI/CD pipelines to automate building, testing, and deployment using GitLab runners and Argo CD.\nManage AWS cloud environments.\nCollaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.\nPerform work primarily on-site, with little to no work from home, and support operations in a SCIF.\nRequired Qualifications\n Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, with a CI Polygraph within the last 7 years.\nBachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.\n12 years or more of professional experience, or 10 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree.\nCurrent Security+ CE certification.\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code, automation, and scripting.\nAbility to work primarily on-site in a SCIF environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\n Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure including EC2, Lambda, S3, SNS, SQS, Event Router, Athena, and Step Functions using Terraform and auto scaling.\nUnderstand AWS networking principles including VPCs, NATs, and IP Gateway.\nDevelop and manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.\nCollaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and reliability.\nTroubleshoot infrastructure issues and ensure system uptime.\nExperience with Kubernetes, especially EKS, ECS, and/or Fargate.\nRequired Education and Experience Equivalency\n Bachelor's Degree with 12 years of experience.\nMaster's Degree with 10 years of experience.\nPhD with 10 years of experience.\nRequired Certifications\n Security+ CE.\nRequired Security Clearance\n Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph, with a CI Polygraph within the last 7 years.\nEqual Employment Opportunity\n Base-2 Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
