This role involves working in a mission-driven environment to develop and maintain advanced software solutions.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\n Work in a DevSecOps environment to ensure availability of biometric systems and data for end users.\nLead integration, maintenance, and monitoring of software systems to ensure constant availability of technical resources.\nDesign, implement, and enhance complex software systems including processing-intensive analytics, real-time systems, and business management information systems.\nCollaborate with Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, Architects, and Operations teams to develop enterprise Automated Facial Extraction and Matching (AFEM) capabilities.\nParticipate in test, staging, and production deployments ensuring system reliability and performance.\nDevelop and maintain software applications using C#.\nImplement API development, ETL processes, and enterprise search capabilities such as Elasticsearch.\nUtilize DevOps tools like GitLab or Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.\nMonitor automated system integration tests and resolve system abnormalities.\nFoster collaboration within the team to deliver high-quality solutions to customers.\nRequired Qualifications\n Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master's Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience. Additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.\nProficiency in C# programming and API development.\nKnowledge of SQL Server, ETL processes, and application-level security.\nHands-on experience with microservices and logging systems.\nPreferred Qualifications\n Familiarity with biometric systems and SDKs.\nExperience with containerization technologies such as Docker and DevOps tools.\nExperience with AWS cloud-based architecture and services like Lambda.\nExperience with GPU processing using CUDA, PyTorch, etc.\nKnowledge of GraphQL, Python, Bash, Apache NiFi, and Kafka.\nActive certifications such as Security+ or CE.\nProficiency with Linux server management and tools optimized for cross-platform environments.\nRequired Education and Experience Equivalency\n Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of experience.\nMaster's Degree with 6+ years of experience.\nRequired Certifications\n None specified.\nRequired Security Clearance\n Active Top Secret/SCI\nEqual Employment Opportunity\n Base-2 Solutions is an equal opportunity employer.
