But the graph is becoming infrastructure for anyone who needs to know if a business is real and worth trusting: gig platforms, marketplaces, AI companies, and commerce infrastructure at scale.\nTrust is the substrate of every financial transaction. We're rebuilding it.\nABOUT THE TEAM\nAI agents are starting to transact: opening accounts, buying services, moving money on behalf of the businesses and people behind them. Every one of those transactions has a counterparty asking the question banks have always asked: who am I dealing with, and can I trust them? Today's identity infrastructure wasn't built to answer it at agent speed.\nThe Agentic Economy team is extending Baselayer's business graph into the trust layer for agentic commerce: verifiable credentials that bind an agent to the verified business and human behind it, a registry counterparties can query in real time, and verification APIs that plug into the networks, platforms, and protocols where agent transactions happen.\nWe run like a startup inside a startup: a small senior team led by our GM of Agentic Economy, working directly with payment networks, banks, wallet providers, and agent platforms. The category is being defined right now; the standards, seats, and infrastructure decisions of the next 18 months will be consequential for a decade.\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nOwn the full sales cycle including prospecting, qualification, discovery, demos, pilots, negotiation, and close\nBuild and manage a healthy pipeline across SMB, mid-market, and or enterprise accounts\nExecute outbound prospecting sequences to generate new opportunities\nLead discovery conversations to deeply understand customer pain points and align Baselayer’s solutions\nRun high-quality product demos and manage customer trials or pilots\nPartner closely with Product and Engineering to share customer feedback and influence roadmap decisions\nCollaborate with GTM leadership to refine positioning, messaging, and sales motions\nRepresent Baselayer with professionalism, credibility, and thought leadership in the market\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS\n2+ or more years of experience in SaaS sales, fintech, financial services, or a highly analytical GTM role\nA consistent track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets\nExperience running complex, consultative sales cycles with technical or analytical buyers\nStrong discovery, storytelling, and objection-handling skills\nComfort operating in ambiguity and rapidly evolving environments\nA proactive, self-directed mindset where you create momentum rather than wait for direction\nWHAT SETS YOU APART\nHigh intellectual curiosity and fast learning ability\nStrong desire for feedback, growth, and continuous improvement\nAmbition for equity, leadership, and meaningful ownership in the company you are helping build\nAbility to operate with urgency, accountability, and high standards\nYou are hungry, competitive, and motivated to win.
