As our next Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer you will contribute to solving meaningful challenges across the life sciences industry. About the role
As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, you will build and maintain marketing automation for pharma clients. You'll work on HCP/patient engagement journeys, CloudPages and forms, integrations with CRM (Veeva Vault CRM, Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud), and compliance-heavy email/SMS/omnichannel programs. This position also offers a chance to grow into newer parts of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud stack, like MC Engage and Next, as well as Campaign Manager (Vault CRM).
Your responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain SFMC solutions across CloudPages, forms, email and SMS using AMPscript, SSJS, JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Build and optimise data and automation processes using SQL, data extensions, Automation Studio and consent/MDM logic
- Develop and support customer journeys and personalised communications in Journey Builder across email and SMS
- Integrate and troubleshoot external systems using REST APIs, JSON and Postman, including integrations with Salesforce and Veeva Vault CRM
- Collaborate with consultants and campaign managers to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and resolve issues across the SFMC ecosystem
What you bring:
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) experience, including CloudPages, forms, email templates and landing pages
- Strong skills in SQL, AMPscript, SSJS (JavaScript), HTML/CSS and data segmentation
- Experience with SFMC APIs (REST/SOAP), JSON, Postman and CRM platforms
- Experience using AI tools for development, personalisation and campaign recommendations, e.g. Claude Code, Agentforce and Einstein
- Pharma/life sciences experience is a strong plus, particularly consent management, MLR/compliance review and HCP data handling
Nice to have:
- Experience with Journey Builder and cross-channel journeys, including SMS, push and mobile
- Familiarity with MDM/master data concepts
- Agile or consulting delivery experience
- Curiosity about new technologies and market trends, with an interest in Marketing Cloud Engagement+, Marketing Cloud Next and Campaign Manager
As a person, you are analytical, curious, and solution-oriented, with a strong ability to evaluate complex information, investigate issues, and learn quickly. You are furthermore a collaborative team player who enjoys working with others.
