You’ll be accountable for what it does for Base’s growth and work closely with Growth, Design, and Marketing to turn campaigns and product launches into web experiences that perform. You’ll also bring your own point of view on what this site should say, how it should feel, and what’s holding it back.\nThis is the right role if you’re equally comfortable in Figma and your terminal, and frustrated by orgs where design and engineering never talk.\nWhat You’ll Do\nOwn basepowercompany.com end-to-end: architecture, design, copy, and performance.\n\nBuild and ship pages in Next.js, React, and Tailwind: landing pages, campaign pages, product launches, and iterative improvements.\n\nMaintain visual consistency and brand quality across every page and breakpoint.\n\nWrite and shape website copy in Base’s voice, working closely with Marketing and Design.\n\nDesign and run A/B and multivariate experiments to improve conversion, engagement, and member quality.\n\nOwn technical SEO and site performance: Core Web Vitals, structured data, page speed, and crawlability.\n\nBuild and maintain a component library that makes future development faster and more consistent.\n\nBuild AI-powered web features and design the workflows (prompts, agents, data pipelines) that make the team faster and the site smarter.\n\nCollaborate with Growth, Design, Product, and Engineering to translate business goals into web experiences.\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\n5-8 years working at the intersection of web design and front-end development, with a portfolio that proves both.\n\nProduction-quality Next.js, React, and Tailwind skills. You’ve shipped real things, not just prototypes.\n\nA sharp design eye: typography, spacing, hierarchy, motion. You notice when something is off by 4px.\n\nComfort writing and editing copy. You can shape a headline, not just implement one.\n\nHands-on experience with PostHog: feature flags, session replay, experiments, and funnel analysis.\n\nComfort building with AI: designing workflows, prompting models, and integrating AI features into production web experiences.\n\nStrong SEO and performance fundamentals: Core Web Vitals, semantic HTML, structured data, rendering strategies.\n\nProficiency in Figma. You move fluidly between design and code.\n\nSelf-directed.
