About the Role Base is hiring an Engineering Technician to be the hands of our hardware team. You'll build, rework, test, and tear down Base hardware, from prototypes in the lab to units returned from the field. You'll work side by side with design, test, and reliability engineers to get hardware ready for test, find out what broke and why, and get fixes back into the product fast. What You'll Do Build, assemble, and troubleshoot prototypes, test setups, and lab equipment. Solder and rework boards, build harnesses, and wire thermocouples and data acquisition. Prep, inspect, and run hardware before and after test, including high-voltage battery systems. Tear down returned field units, run diagnostics, and help engineers find root cause.
