Pyspark Developer to work for a leading investment bank client in Trade Surveillance Team.\n\nSkills required : \n\n- 8+ years of experience in data intensive Pyspark development.\n\n- Experience as a core Python developer.\n\n- Basic experience in Gen/Agentic AI\n\n- Experience developing Classes, OOPS, exception handling, parallel processing .\n\n- Strong knowledge of DB connectivity, data loading , transformation, calculation.\n\n- Extensive experience in Pandas/Numpy dataframes, slicing, data wrangling, aggregations.\n\n- Lambda Functions, Decorators.\n\n- Vector operations on Pandas dataframes /series.\n\n- Application of applymap, apply, map functions.\n\n- Concurrency and error handling data pipeline batch of size [1-10 gb].\n\n- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.\n\n- Ability to design architecture of data pipeline for concurrent data processing.\n\n- Familiar with creating/designing RESTful services and APIs.\n\n- Familiar with application unit tests.\n\n- Working with Git source control Service-orientated architecture, including the ability to consider integrations with other applications and services.\n\n- Debugging application.\n\nNice To Have : \n\n- Knowledge of web backend technology - Django, Python, PostgreSQL.\n\n- Apache Airflow\n\n- Atlassian Jira\n\n- Understanding of Financial Markets Asset Classes (FX, FI, Equities, Rates, Commodities & Credit), various trade types (OTC, exchange traded, Spot, Forward, Swap, Options) and related systems is a plus\n\n- Surveillance domain knowledge, regulations (MAR, MIFID, CAT, Dodd Frank) and related Systems knowledge is certainly a plus\n\nResponsibilities : \n\n- Develop software applications based on business requirements\n\n- Maintain software applications and make enhancements according to project specifications\n\n- Participate in requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation activities\n\n- Propose new techniques and technologies for software development.\n\n- Perform unit testing and user acceptance testing to evaluate application functionality\n\n- Ensure to complete the assigned development tasks within the deadlines\n\n- Work in compliance with coding standards and best practices\n\n- Provide assistance to Junior Developers when needed.\n\n- Perform code reviews and recommend improvements.\n\n- Review business requirements and recommend changes to develop reliable applications.\n\n- Develop coding documentation and other technical specifications for assigned projects.\n\n-
