From strategy development to hands-on implementation, we support our clients were impact matters most.\nAbout the role\nAs a Vault CRM Configuration Specialist,you will work closely with clients and colleagues to address complex challenges across the life sciences value chain. You will take ownership of your work and contribute to delivering solutions that create real, lasting impact.\nYour responsibilities include:\nConfigure and maintain Veeva Vault CRM environments for pharma clients, including objects, fields, page layouts, picklists, security profiles, and user roles.\nHandle incoming support tickets and change requests from triage and impact assessment through to implementation and closure.\nPlan and run Vault release readiness for each of the three annual general releases, including impact analysis, regression testing, and enabling new features where relevant.\nConfigure and support core commercial capabilities such as call reporting, account and territory management, Approved Email, CLM, Engage, and sample management.\nPromote configuration between sandbox and production vaults using controlled deployment practices, with documentation that satisfies client change control and audit requirements.\nSupport clients migrating from legacy Veeva CRM (Salesforce-based) to Vault CRM.\nAct as a trusted advisor to client business and IT stakeholders, recommending best-practice configuration and improvements to their CRM setup.\nYou bring:\nHands-on CRM configuration experience, ideally with Vault CRM Administrator certification or equivalent.\nSolid understanding of the Vault platform, including object model, lifecycles, security, VQL, and deployment through configuration packages.\nKnowledge of pharma commercial processes and the role CRM plays in field force, medical, and key account management.\nAwareness of relevant regulations and compliance, such as GDPR for HCP data, sample accountability (e.g. PDMA), transparency reporting, and controlled change management.\nExperience working in a managed service or ITSM setup, with ticket handling and tools such as ServiceNow.\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose issues across configuration, data, and integrations.\nClear communication in English, able to translate business requirements into configuration and to explain technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.\nThis position is offered in Spain.\nWho is BASE life science?\nFounded in 2015, BASE life science is a business and technology consulting company working exclusively in life sciences, built on a simple purpose: grow our people, and deliver real impact for our customers.\nWe don't think AI is a feature you bolt onto existing systems - we think it's the layer through which a life sciences company's strategy actually gets executed, end to end.
