As a manager within the Migration team, you will be handling projects and programs with regards to migration implementation to achieve desired outcomes and ensure successful business growth and regulatory compliance. You will also seek new business opportunities to help BASE life science grow its presence within existing and new customers.\nYou will provide program/project management oversight for all customer implementations falling under the Migrations team’s scope.\nYou will lead project teams consisting of data engineers/scientists. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, project management and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.\nAs a Technical Project Managerfor the Migration team your responsibilities include:\nMonitoring program status including milestones, risks, issues, budgets, etc.\nActing as a delivery escalation point and proactively ensuring escalations are handled promptly with a clear action and communication plan. \nProviding executive level summaries for senior executives in BASE life science.\nIntervening, when necessary, to ensure costs, timelines and quality are on track.\nDeveloped plans and effort estimates for future project during sales process.\nDelivering Projects:\nLead a cross-functional team to deliver data driven projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our life science industry stakeholders. \nCollaborate with business stakeholders in the life science industry to understand their data needs and translate them into technical specifications for the project team. \nDevelop project plans, timelines, and budgets for the projects. \nTrack and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks as needed. \nFacilitate communication and collaboration between the project team, life science industry stakeholders, and other teams within BASE life science.\nWhat makes you the best person for this job?\n5+ years of experience as a technical project manager ideally within the life science industry or other regulated areas. \nSuccessful track record of managing technically complex projects such as software development, implementation of IT systems, data migrations, etc. \nExperience leading developers, data engineers and/or data scientists and delivering data driven projects.\nExperiencewith project management tools such as JIRA. \nExperience with Agile project management methodologies such as SAFe. \nStrong communication skills, both in writing, meetings and in presentations.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills in English.\nA genuine interest in understanding the technical aspects of complex data-driven projects. \nAdditionally, the ideal candidate has the following qualifications:\nExperience with coding in Python, VBA, Java, R, SQL, C, or similar. \nExperience selling either projects or products to clients. \nExperience working with Veeva Vault.\nThis position is offered in Copenhagen, Denmark and Barcelona, Spain.\nWho is BASE life science?\nFounded in 2007, BASE life science is a business and technology consulting enterprise working exclusively in the life sciences industry.\nWith headquarters in Denmark and offices across Europe and the United States, we support clients globally.
