The role prepares operational deliverables and works closely with the ASEAN Platform Finance Manager, who reviews key submissions, provides technical guidance and retains oversight of significant finance and compliance matters.\nThe position acts as the primary local finance contact for routine accounting matters and coordinates closely with Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) teams, external advisors, auditors and internal regional functions.\nCore responsibilities:\nAccounting & Financial Reporting\nPerform month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals and account reconciliations.\nMaintain the accuracy, completeness and integrity of the general ledger.\nPrepare financial reporting schedules, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting documentation.\nPrepare statutory financial statement schedules in accordance with local requirements.\nSupport IFRS reporting packages and ensure alignment with company accounting policies.\nInvestigate accounting issues and escalate significant or judgmental matters to the ASEAN Platform Finance Manager\nTax Compliance\nPrepare VAT, withholding tax and corporate income tax supporting schedules and filings.\nPerform tax reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation.\nCoordinate routine matters with external tax advisors and internal tax teams.\nSupport responses to tax authority inquiries and tax audits.\nEscalate material tax risks, uncertain positions and non-routine transactions for management review.\nExternal Audit Support\nPrepare audit schedules, reconciliations and requested supporting documentation.\nCoordinate day-to-day information requests from external auditors.\nSupport timely completion of statutory audits.\nTrack audit findings and follow-up actions, and escalate unresolved matters.\nTreasury & Banking Support\nSupport local banking administration.\nMonitor cash positions and prepare inputs for cash forecasting.\nCoordinate routine treasury activities with the regional treasury team and local banks.\nMaintain appropriate banking and treasury documentation.\nCompliance, Controls & Governance\nMaintain the local finance compliance calendar and required statutory documentation.\nSupport compliance with local accounting, tax and finance-related regulatory requirements.\nExecute and document internal controls within the role’s scope.\nSupport process improvements and remediation of control or compliance gaps.\nBPO & Service Provider Coordination\nAct as the operational contact for outsourced finance activities.\nReview BPO deliverables for completeness and accuracy before manager review where applicable.\nCoordinate issue resolution, track service quality and escalate recurring problems.\nSupport process standardization, transition and continuous improvement initiatives.\nProfessional and educational qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.\nAt least 5 to 8 years of relevant accounting experience.\nExperience in a multinational company is preferred.\nPractical exposure to statutory reporting, tax compliance and external audits.\nManufacturing or shared-service environment experience is advantageous.\nWorking knowledge of Thai accounting requirements and IFRS fundamentals.\nPractical knowledge of VAT, withholding tax and corporate income tax processes.\nSAP experience preferred;
