We contribute to the long-term success of our customers’ brands with a broad range of products and concepts via our global network of production and development site.\nAs a Chemical Operator, you will assist higher-level operators in all phases of production work.\nThis position is part of a job family with multiple levels and will be filled at a level that is commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience.\nDuring your 12-hour shift as a Chemical Operator, you will…\nBatch manufacture, including weighing and charging raw materials, handling acids and caustics.\nOperate the DCS control system.\nUnload raw materials from tankers, railcars, and ISO containers to vessels and tanks.\nTransfer products from vessels to storage tanks, tanks, etc.\nOperate a fork truck to transfer material and perform housekeeping items.\nType of work involves complex chemical reactions and operations with various types of equipment located on many levels, which requires a high degree of concentration during various phases of the operation.\nOperating procedures vary batch-to-batch and product-to-product and must be carefully followed to produce on spec material.\nIf you…\nHold a high school diploma/GED or equivalent.
