Further information is available on www.basf.com/in\nAbout the Role:\nSupport operational controlling activities for assigned business areas by performing financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and cost monitoring. Provide reliable financial insights to stakeholders, support service charging governance and project cost management, contribute to performance tracking and continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and guidelines.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOperational Controlling Tasks (service charging contract governance & ownership, monthly reporting/ budget tracking, forecasting, annual budgeting, ad-hoc cost analysis / deep dives, run charging activities and manage residuals, analyze and monitor cost flows, provide transparency on cost drivers to stakeholders).\nProject Coordination: Support Reporting, Forecasting, Budgeting and Ad-Hoc analysis of Project Cost.\nPerformance Management: Support (ad-hoc) analysis of KPI output, identification & execution of improvement measures, automation/improvement of KPI tracking\nConduct cost analysis, monitoring, reporting, and budgeting for your assigned business area.\nDeliver reliable financial information to support management decision-making and strategic planning.\nSupport automation and continuous improvement initiatives.\nCoordinate management inquiries and structure complex ad-hoc analysis.\nLiaise with the Finance Manager of the company to ensure compliance with BASF Group’s guidelines.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelors / Masters degree in Finance, Accounting or related fields and recognized professional qualification (e.g. CA, CMA)\nProfessional experience 2-4 years, relevant experience in business or controlling functions is preferred\nTeam player with a high service orientation with proactive approach and continuous improvement mindset.\nStrong communication skills in English\nExcellent analytical skills, with a strong ability to learn and work independently as well as in a team.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAbility to operate in high-autonomy environments with strong decision-making accountability.\nDemonstrated capability to influence strategic outcomes while ensuring governance, compliance, and operational excellence.\nTechnical Skills:\nProfessional experience with ERP/IT tools such as SAP FI/CO, SAP BW, MS Office and PowerBI\nAbout BASF:\nAt BASF, we believe that great chemistry starts with great people.
