With seeds and traits, crop protection and digital solutions, we help farmers produce food more efficiently, protect the land and meet the needs of society.\nWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT\nYou will employed by BASF Agricultural Solutions Italy S.r.l.\nManaging EHS Specialist and RSPP responsabilities for BASF small sites in Italy, ensuring compliance with Italian Health & Safety legislation and internal EHS standards.\nLead the implementation and continuous improvement of the EHS management system, including BASF Responsible Care requirements, procedures, and governance.\nPromote a strong safety culture across Italian sites through EHS campaigns, training initiatives, Safety Days, and Behavior-Based Safety programs.\nMonitor regulatory developments and ensure the timely implementation of required actions related to health, safety, environment, process safety, and security.\nCoordinate risk assessments, incident investigations, corrective actions, emergency preparedness activities, and site safety reviews.\nSupport environmental compliance activities, including emissions, water, waste management, supplier audits, and environmental assessments.\nFunctionally coordinate EHS representatives across sites, organize follow-up meetings, monitor action plans, and support management reviews.\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders, external service providers, contractors, authorities, and regional EHS teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement.\nWHAT YOU OFFER\nDegree in EHS, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field, with relevant experience in an industrial environment.\n3-5 years of experience in Health, Safety & Environment roles, preferably within manufacturing, chemical, or industrial sites.\nSolid knowledge of Italian Health & Safety legislation, including D.Lgs. 81/08, and familiarity with RSPP responsibilities.\nStrong understanding of EHS management systems, risk prevention, process safety, environmental protection, and compliance requirements.\nExperience in risk assessments, incident investigations, safety procedures, emergency management, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nAbility to promote safety culture through training, communication campaigns, and engagement with internal and external stakeholders.\nProactive, autonomous, and rigorous working style, with strong communication skills and the ability to adapt messages to different audiences.\nFluent English, both written and spoken, is essential.\nResidence in Bologna or the surrounding area is required.\n\nRegular travel to the assigned sites: Lugo (RA), Fasano (BR), Colognola ai Colli (VR), Sant'Agata Bolognese (BO), and Ascoli Satriano (FG) is an essential requirement of the role.\nWHAT WE OFFER\nCCNL (National Chemical Collective Agreement).\nIndicative gross annual salary (RAL) between €50,000 and €55,000, to be assessed based on the candidate’s skills and relevant experience.\nPerformance-based variable bonus.\nCompany participation bonus.\nCorporate welfare program.\nCompany car for both business and personal use.\nHOW TO REACH US\nDo you have questions about the selection process or the position?
