With teams in the lab, field, office and in production, we do everything in our power to build a sustainable future for agriculture.\n#ForTheLoveOfFarming #TheBiggestJobOnEarth #AgEmployerOfChoice\nHere you can gain more insight into our Vision at BASF Agricultural Solutions!\nDuring your shift as a HVAC Maintenance Technician you will:\nPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC systems and associated building equipment.\nTroubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC equipment issues, identify recurring problems, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.\nRespond to BAS alarms and facility emergencies and participate in the maintenance on-call rotation.\nCoordinate and oversee contractors and vendors, including work scopes, permits, equipment outages, and site safety requirements.\nManage refrigerant activities, including inventory, documentation, reporting, and coordination of refrigerant leaks.\nMaintain work orders, procure parts and materials, complete required documentation, and collaborate with Site Services Engineering on maintenance and improvement projects.\nIf you...\nHave a High School Diploma or GED.\nBring 5+ years of hands-on HVAC maintenance experience in a commercial and/or industrial facility environment, including air-handling units, VAV systems, and exhaust systems.\nHold an EPA Section 608 Universal Technician Certification.\nHave experience reading and interpreting MEP drawings, equipment manuals, control documentation, and P&IDs to support maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.\nDemonstrate working knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS), including equipment monitoring, alarm review, trend analysis, point verification, and troubleshooting.\nHave experience using a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage work orders and document maintenance activities, labour, and resolutions.\nAre proficient with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, and Word, and are willing and able to participate in an on-call rotation and work overtime or off-hours as needed.\nBring an associate degree, diploma, or certificate in HVAC/R, mechanical systems, industrial maintenance, or a related technical field, preferred.\nHave experience in a regulated, safety-focused R&D or laboratory environment and knowledge of equipment such as chillers, cooling towers, pumps, VFDs, environmental chambers, laboratory ventilation, and/or greenhouse HVAC systems, preferred.\nHave experience coordinating third-party contractors and site stakeholders and current training in forklift and powered mobile equipment operation, or the willingness and ability to complete required training, preferred.\nCreate your own chemistry with you@BASF\nAt BASF, you will have the chance to do meaningful work towards building a more sustainable future.
