Our hiring practices are designed to ensure equal opportunity for all candidates.\nWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT\nWe are currently seeking a talented Delivery Lead to join our team at BASF's Agricultural Solutions department Digital Factory.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nResponsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of technology projects within our organization. This includes managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of stakeholders.\nWith an emphasis on experience with Finance applications, data, integration, and analytics projects., the ideal candidate should have a strong background in data management, data warehousing, and analytics.\nThe ideal candidate should have experience managing complex data projects, including data integration, data migration, and data modeling. In addition, the candidate should be familiar with data governance, data quality, and data security.\nThe IT Delivery Lead should be able to manage a team of data engineers, data analysts, and other IT professionals, and work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements. They should also be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues.\nTranslate Finance-specific requirements, into IT delivery plans.\nTake ownership of providing technical expertise, consultation, and guidance to the Product Team.\nUnderstand the technical requirements of deliverables and ensure the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including developed code, stored in Azure DevOps.\nSupport the Product Team with technical troubleshooting for the smooth implementation and maintenance of the solution, collaborating with the development team.\nCollect feedback, address impediments, and advocate for process improvement, teamwork, and adherence to APB/I's ways of working to drive continuous improvement.\nFacilitate productive team meetings, fostering equal participation through open communication to promote collaboration and innovation, align new requirements with team capacity, priorities, and report team performance to stakeholders and provide mentorship and guidance to ensure successful implementation, offering training or coaching for enhanced collaboration.\nOther responsibilities may include developing project plans and schedules, managing project budgets and resources, identifying and mitigating project risks, and ensuring that projects are delivered according to established standards and best practices.\nManage vendors and contractors, including contracts, invoices, purchase orders. \nREQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.\nAgile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) are preferred.\nOracle SQL experience (databases, SQL queries, procedures), Github and REST APIs\nVaried and extensive experience in project management, with a focus on Agile methodologies.\nProven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting stakeholder expectations.\nExperience delivering solutions supporting Finance processes, such as Accounting, Controlling, Planning, Treasury, Tax, ESG Reporting, or Credit Management.\nExperience managing complex projects related to Finance applications, data, integration, and analytics projects., including data integration, data migration, and data modeling.\nIn-depth knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean.\nAbility to lead Agile teams, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and ensure adherence to Agile principles and practices\nStrong understanding of Agile project management tools and techniques, such as user stories, backlog management, sprint planning, and retrospectives.\nExperience experience working with Finance applications, data, integration, and analytics projects. tools such as data warehouses, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data visualization tools.\nKnowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security best practices.\nProven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and senior management.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements.\nDemonstrated commitment to continuous learning and improvement, staying up to-date with industry trends and best practices in Agile methodologies and Finance applications, data, integration, and analytics projects.\nAbility to identify areas for process improvement, implement Agile practices, and mentor team members in Agile principles. \nNice to have:\nExperience with enterprise Finance solutions, SAP environments, cloud-based applications, and their integration with ERP and data platforms is an advantage.\nData and process integration experience with mulesoft, databricks, azure data factory. \nWHAT WE OFFER\nA secure work environment because your health, safety and wellbeing is always our top priority.\nFlexible work schedule and Home-office options, so that you can balance your working life and private life.\nLearning and development opportunities\n25 holiday days per year\n5 additional days (readjustment)\nA collaborative, trustful and innovative work environment\nBeing part of an international team and work in global projects\nRelocation assistance to Madrid provided\nHOW TO REACH US\nDo you have any questions about the application process or the position?
