At BASF, careers develop from opportunities.\nObjectives\nThe Master Data Analyst - Cellasto is responsible for maintaining accurate and consistent master data in SAP to support supply chain and logistics processes. The role ensures efficient execution of workflows, material phase in and out and packaging administration, while collaborating with global stakeholders\nMain Areas of Responsibilities and Key Activities\nMaster Data Maintenance\nCreate, maintain, and update material master data in SAP and Stibo STEP\nEnsure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data across systems\nPerform regular data validation and quality checks to maintain data integrity\nWorkflow Management\nManage master data workflows related to product creation, number assignment, and approvals\nCoordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate product data setup\nEnsure compliance with standard processes and governance guidelines\nSupport start-of-production (SOP) and end-of-production (EOP) workflows\nGlobal Packaging Administration\nManage global Cellasto packaging materials across systems and processes\nMaintain packaging-related master data, including structures and specifications\nEnsure accurate system representation of packaging materials to support logistics and operational processes\nSupport the standardization and continuous improvement of packaging master data\nOther Responsibilities\nCollaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure global data alignment and consistency\nSupport audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives\nProvide backup support for team members during absences\nParticipate in projects within the assigned functional area\nJob Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)\n2-4 years of experience in Supply Chain or related field (or “relevant internship/academic exposure”)\nSAP knowledge (mandatory)\nProficiency in MS Office applications\nWorking knowledge of SAP (MM/PP modules preferred)\nUnderstanding of packaging processes and materials management\nExperience or exposure to manufacturing or automotive environments\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with virtual teams and global stakeholders\nExcellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines\nHigh attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy in planning and execution\nAdaptability and flexibility to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic environment\nAnalytical thinking and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges\nStructured and process-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency and consistency\nFluent in English\nGerman language proficiency is an
