Our hiring practices are designed to ensure equal opportunity for all candidates.\nRESPOSIBILITIES\nYou work in a self-organized team covering both development and operational topics, including automated testing.\nYou are responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting OMP OPR-related developments using OPAL, including pyramids, solvers, and conflicts.\nYou build and deploy templates using Git version control.\nYou resolve incidents and tickets arising from the productive OMP OPR environment.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nA bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain management, information technology, industrial engineering, software engineering, computer science, or a related field.\nExperience in software development or IT consulting, with a focus on supply chain planning solutions.\nTwo to five years of supply chain planning experience (e.g., demand planning, supply network planning, detailed scheduling, optimization, and data integration).\nGood understanding of the software development lifecycle.\nIn-depth knowledge of detailed planning and scheduling solutions, preferably OMP, as well as SAP ECC and SAP APO.\nStrong technical aptitude.\nProgramming skills in Python, Java, and C++.\nKnowledge of supply chain planning processes.\nNICE TO HAVE\nERP knowledge in manufacturing environments.\nExperience with agile development methodologies such as Scrum.\nAgile certification(s) from the Scrum Alliance, SAFe, or another recognized organization.\nExperience with Lean UX and design thinking.\nKnowledge of Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.\nBENEFITS\nA secure work environment because your health, safety and wellbeing is always our top priority.\nFlexible work schedule and Home-office options, so that you can balance your working life and private life.\nLearning and development opportunities\n25 holiday days per year\n5 additional days (readjustment)\nA collaborative, trustful and innovative work environment\nBeing part of an international team and work in global projects\nRelocation assistance to Madrid provided\nAt BASF, the chemistry is right\nBecause we are counting on innovative solutions, on sustainable actions, and on connected thinking and on you.
