We are seeking Chemical Plant Operators that have both operational and technical experience who are able to demonstrate a proven track record of strong safety and environmental performance. Examples of operational duties include: operating the DCS, issuing permits, sampling, troubleshooting, preparing equipment for maintenance and subsequent operation, and inspections.\nDuring your 12-hour shift as a Production Operator, you will\nEnsure standards of safety, environmental, team and individual performance are met in a high-performance team-based organization.\nPerform Work Permitting process and prepare equipment for daily maintenance activities.\nTrain new employees on unit activities.\nParticipate on emergency response teams condition of employment.\nIf you...\nHold a High School Diploma or GED.\nPreferrably have 3 years of operations experience in a chemical manufacturing environment\nPossess a valid driver's license\nAre able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.\nAre results oriented, dependable, safety conscious, and able to work effectively in a team environment.\nPreferrably have Honeywell TDC 3000, DCS Operational, and Work Permit Writing experience\nCreate your own chemistry with you@BASF\nAt BASF, you will have the chance to do meaningful work towards building a more sustainable future.
