The business services a wide range of customers in many different markets from automotive, construction, refrigeration, appliances, etc. The operators within the Clemson Site must adapt to change safely, quickly, and efficiently while maintaining the highest quality requirements. The Operator III manufactures blended resin systems for foam application to meet our customer needs.\n**This role works around a 3 rotating shift. Shift hours are:\n1st Shift: 5am -1:30pm\n2nd Shift: 1pm - 9:30pm\n3rd Shift: 9pm - 5:30am\nDuring your rotating shift as a Production Technician, you will\nUse product recipes to produce blended resin systems in multiple blend vessels including the PSM process. \nHave knowledge of raw materials and the hazards, locations, etc. of those raw materials and knowledgeable of the process equipment. \nUse interface screens to the process control system to add exact quantities of chemicals to match product recipes, follow step by step batch instructions, and take samples as required. \nLoad drums, totes, cylinders, and tank trucks with the final product.\nUnload raw materials via rail car to bulk storage, tank truck to bulk storage tank, tank truck to tote, and box vans of drums & totes. \nFollow standard operating procedures to unload and check-in various raw materials for production.\nBe an integral part of the site’s safety culture. This individual is responsible for certain areas of the plant from a safety and housekeeping perspective. Operator I will also be required to master a certain number of standard operating procedure.\nTrain in Department of Transportation (DOT). This individual must be able to understand hazard communication and DOT OSHA requirements for chemical transportation, storage, and handling. \nUnderstand how to use personal protective equipment to perform all necessary job functions within the process.\nBe able to become a certified forklift driver.\nIf you...\nPossess a High School Diploma (2 Year technical degree preferred)\nHave good communication skills\nHave a high level of attention to detail\nAre able to lift at least 50lbs.\n**‘Selected candidate is going to be HAZMAT trained by the site for which he would need to be clean shaved.
