Our hiring practices are designed to ensure equal opportunity for all candidates.\nRESPOSIBILITIES\nWork in a self-organized DevOps team with an initial development focus (SAP S/4 PP/DS).\nAnalyze production planning and detailed scheduling requirements with planners and business users and translate them into user stories and IT specifications. \nDesign, configure, and implement SAP S/4 PP/DS solutions. \nSupport the migration of legacy SAP APO PP/DS capabilities to SAP S/4 PP/DS. \nGuide developers on enhancements, user exits, interfaces, and user interface requirements and validate the resulting solutions. \nCreate functional and integration test scenarios, support user acceptance testing, and coordinate defect resolution. \nPrepare functional documentation and training materials, coach end users, and support cutover, go-live, and knowledge transfer. \nSupport the integration of SAP S/4 PP/DS with advanced planning platforms such as OMP. \nQUALIFICATIONS\nA bachelor's or master's degree in supply chain management, information technology, industrial engineering, business informatics, computer science, or a related field. \nExperience in SAP consulting, application development, or DevOps, with a focus on production planning and detailed scheduling. \n3-5 years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4 PP/DS and SAP APO PP/DS. \nStrong functional knowledge of production planning, detailed scheduling, capacity planning, heuristics, scheduling strategies. \nExperience translating business requirements into functional specifications. \nExperience with implementation projects, global template rollouts, cutover, go-live, and functional, integration, and user acceptance testing. \nKnowledge of end-to-end supply chain planning and manufacturing processes and experience working across business, development, and solution architecture teams. \nExcellent communication skills in English. \nStrong functional and analytical mindset combined with sufficient technical understanding to guide development and validate solutions. \nAbility to bridge planners, business stakeholders, developers, and solution architects and to facilitate requirements workshops. \nOwnership of functional work items from requirements through implementation, testing, and deployment. \nOpen-minded, collaborative, and able to work independently in a globally distributed multicultural team. \nNICE TO HAVE\nExperience migrating SAP APO PP/DS functionality to SAP S/4 PP/DS.\nKnowledge of advanced planning requirements such as dynamic setup, tank scheduling, shared capacities, and production heuristics.\nExperience integrating SAP PP/DS with OMP or another advanced planning platform.\nExperience with Azure DevOps, SAP Solution Manager, Jira, Confluence, and agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum.\nBENEFITS\nA secure work environment because your health, safety and wellbeing is always our top priority.\nFlexible work schedule and Home-office options, so that you can balance your working life and private life.\nLearning and development opportunities\n25 holiday days per year\n5 additional days (readjustment)\nA collaborative, trustful and innovative work environment\nBeing part of an international team and work in global projects\nRelocation assistance to Madrid provided\nAt BASF, the chemistry is right\nBecause we are counting on innovative solutions, on sustainable actions, and on connected thinking and on you.
