BPI is considered a strategic tool to digitalize processes and enable seamless exchange of data between applications, businesses, customers and partners in real-time.\nIn this role, you will focus on consulting representatives of BASF businesses and BASF partners on integrating business processes primarily in the Order-to Invoice process area, including respective mappings.\nRole:\nThe Solution Consultant provides customized integration solutions for internal partners and external partners via EDI, API, Micro Services, AI Agents, and similar technologies.\nThe Solution Consultant supports our internal (SAP ERP and Satellite Systems) and external partners to specify their requirements and translates those into best-in-class solution designs based on technical and business process knowledge, aligned with process design and architecture. The consultant will be responsible for supplemental tasks in the daily operation, e.g. operational support (2nd/3rd level), issue resolving, quality assurance, and business interaction. The role does also include assignments to support comprehensive business integration projects.\nThe Solution Consultant works in a global, international setting, interacting with team members in all other regions to provide sustainable digital solutions for our partners.\nAdditional work aspects: strategic contribution to IT architecture and cross-process digitalization efforts, interact with connectivity solutions by supporting API, micro services, generative AI and other industries relevant technical developments.\nThe business processes in scope of this role are: Order-to-Cash, Order-to-Invoice.\nRequirements:\nEducation:\nMaster's degree in computer science, businessor STEM major with 4-6 years of IT or related field experience OR\n\nBachelor's degree in computer science, businessor STEM major with 6-8 years of IT or related field experience OR\n\nDiploma or comparable training with 6+ years of professional experience in IT and/or business areas\n\nWork Experience :\nMinimum 4years related working experience\n\nExperiencing Agile way of working or agile implementation approach\n\nWork experience in an international company is a plus\n\nTechnical&ProfessionalKnowledge(mandatory and nice to have) :\nOur main requirements:\nConsult and support internal and external partners when dealing with complex processes and IT application questions.\n\nGood business knowledge in various application and process areas, esp. Order to Invoice: Sales Orders, Deliveries, Picking-Post Goods Issue, Invoicing, Inter Company Flows).\n\nConducts and support the technical implementation of the B2B Integration to external partners\n\nShowing strong transactional experience in SAP R3 and/or S4/HANA (SD/ MM)\n\nAbility to work and navigate in SAP middleware platforms (PO, CPI Integration Suite)\n\nProvides a deep technical understanding of standard connectivity messages EDI-APIs and programming protocols (supporting e.g. iDocs, XML, EDIFACT, JSON, UI etc.)\n\nExecute studies in preliminary stages of projects, including evaluation of existing or new solutions\n\nFamiliar with Azure DevOps (or GitHub or similar)\n\nConsult and support IT analysis (process and/or data), mentoring, modeling, solution design and optimization of related business processes and models\n\nCoordinate and execute prototyping, configuration and testing of solutions based on BASF requirements, while ensuring quality and security aspects\n\nProvide structured acceptance, analysis and description of solutions and/or concepts\n\nSupport and/or steer the formulation of more complex costs estimates for efforts spend solution design, testingand implementation of business solutions\n\nProvides Business support and training (processes, tools, reports, etc.) where required\n\nProvide guidance and structure to enable day2day operational support incl, advisingexternal support resources\n\nExtensive knowledge of standard connectivity messages, related business processesand applications\n\nPersonal traits:\nYou can demonstratefluent communication skills in English (spoken and written)\n\nWell-developed sense of teamwork in an international team with strong interpersonal, writtenand verbal communication and conflict resolution skills.\n\nBusiness consulting skill with a focus on value generation\n\nAmbitious, proactive & entrepreneurial character\n\nHighly developed sense of responsibility\n\nHigh customer- and innovation-orientation\n\nTime flexibility to work across different time zones\n\nNice to have:\nExperiences as project manager\n\nExperiences in strategic planning and realization\n\nExperiences in AI Agents and AI based communciation\n\nCertifications in Agile, SAP S/4\n\nLanguageProficiency:\nFluentspoken and written English proficiency.\nWHAT WE OFFER\nBe part of a global leader in digital transformation, working in a vibrant Digital Hub that values innovation, agility, and cross-functional collaboration.
