The purpose of this role is to act as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders on HR matters. This includes setting performance expectations, driving organizational change, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation, and promoting teamwork, employee engagement, and safety.\nBuild strong relationships with leaders and teams to understand operational needs, align HR strategies with business objectives, and provide trusted advice on a wide range of HR matters.\nManage sensitive and confidential employee relations issues, including workplace investigations, conflict resolution, performance management, absence management, and disciplinary actions, while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.\nSupport the development and execution of HR programs and initiatives, collaborating with HR teams on policies, processes, and improvements that enhance employee experience.\nDeliver, facilitate, and develop training programs and communications that support compliance, professional development, and employee engagement.\nOversee HRIS data management throughout the employee lifecycle and utilize HR metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.\nSupport the planning, communication, and execution of business unit strategies and initiatives, ensuring alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.\nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of workplace legislation and HR best practices, ensuring the company’s policies and practices are compliant.\nWHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?\nMinimum 3 years’ experience in Human Resources including advising on employee relation matters\nPrevious experience in HRIS systems (Workday an asset)\nSound knowledge of employment/labour laws (Employment Standards Act, Human Rights Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act) required\nHR designation (CHRP/CHRL) or in progress preferred \n*This job is posted to fill a vacant position\nAUTHENTICITY | EMPOWERMENT | COLLABORATION | PURPOSE\nBLUE MOUNTAIN RESORT COMPANY OVERVIEW\nBlue Mountain Resort is Ontario’s largest mountain resort.
