What you design today will be used tomorrow by teams in operations, marketing, finance, and beyond.\nThis Is What Your Role Looks Like\nYou’ll join the central Data Platform Team, working on the foundation of Basic-Fit’s data landscape.\nIn a typical week, you might:\nbuild batch and streaming pipelines in Databricks \ncontinuously improving Databricks, keeping up with the latest technologies \ncollaborate with analysts to improve self-service reporting \nautomate day-to-day work by leveraging the power of AI \nmigrate legacy pipelines to a modern Databricks platform \noptimize performance, cost, governance, and reliability \nsupport designing data models that are directly consumed in Power BI \nWhere you can make an impact\nThis is not a “keep-the-lights-on” role. You’ll actively shape:\nscalable data architecture (Lakeflow Connect, Databricks Apps etc.) \nAI and automation to improve data quality and usability \nself-service analytics across the business \nthe future direction of our data platform \nGood ideas don’t stay in slide decks here - they get built.\nThe team you’ll work with\nYou’ll be part of a multidisciplinary Data Platform Team with:\nData Platform Engineers \nAnalysts \nBI Developers \nData Scientists \nTogether, you support almost every department at Basic-Fit, enabling teams to act on reliable, well-governed data.\nWho Are You?\nYou don’t need to tick every box. You will thrive here if most of this sounds familiar:\nHands-on experience with Databricks (around 1+ year) \nCuriosity about newest Databricks features (dashboards, apps etc.) \nUnderstanding of batch vs. streaming data processing \nStrong skills in SQL, PySpark, and Python \nExperience building data pipelines (e.g. with Azure Data Factory) \nAwareness of data quality, governance, and scalability \nExperience and curiosity towards AI and building agents \nComfortable communicating in English \nExperience with PowerBI or any other reporting tool is a plus \nWhat We Offer You\nAt Basic-Fit, it’s not just about work, it’s about your growth.
