Within our International Property & Construction department, our daily business is much closer to that of a construction and development company than a traditional fitness organization. We develop, design and build clubs across Europe, with a strong focus on efficiency, standardization and continuous improvement.\nAs Team Lead Architectural Engineering, you'll lead our Preparation & Development team of six designers and engineers. Together, you're responsible for the architectural and technical preparation of new clubs, rebuilds and acquisitions, and for the further development of our club standards. You'll work in an international environment with different projects and challenges, and you'll have the freedom to organize your team and bring your own ideas. That way, you make a real difference in how we prepare and develop our clubs across Europe.\nYour tasks:\nTeam leadership & developmentLead, coach and develop a team of six architectural designers and engineers with different levels of experience.\nSet clear priorities, divide responsibilities and manage the team's workload.\nEncourage ownership and support your team in making technical decisions independently.\nHelp team members develop their skills and grow in their roles.\nCreate a positive working environment where people work together, share knowledge and take responsibility.\n\nTechnical preparation & developmentGuide the team in preparing architectural layouts and technical documentation for new clubs, rebuilds and acquisitions.\nEnsure designs meet Basic-Fit standards, project requirements and applicable local regulations.\nCoordinate technical preparation and ensure projects are ready for execution.\nWork closely with the Execution team to ensure designs are practical, buildable and ready for construction.\nIdentify technical risks and support the team in finding practical solutions.\nWork with internal and external stakeholders to resolve project challenges.\n\nStandards & continuous improvementLead the further development and implementation of our architectural and technical standards across Europe.\nWork closely with BIM Engineers and other specialists to improve our design and engineering processes.\nUse feedback from construction projects and operations to improve future club designs.\nHelp improve efficiency, quality and consistency in the way we prepare and build our clubs.\nTranslate departmental priorities into practical improvements together with your team.\n\nWho are you?\nYou're a people-oriented leader with a solid technical background in architecture, engineering or construction. You genuinely enjoy managing people and helping them become better at what they do. You understand technical challenges, but don't feel the need to solve everything yourself. You're comfortable taking responsibility, setting priorities and making decisions, and you thrive in a fast-moving organization where plans sometimes change and not everything is defined in advance. You're practical, approachable and confident enough to challenge ideas when needed.\nAdditionally, we're looking for someone who has:\nA degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management or a related field. \nProven experience managing, coaching and developing people in a technical environment. \nA solid understanding of architectural design, technical engineering and construction preparation. \nStrong planning, communication and organizational skills. \nThe ability to set priorities, make decisions and work independently. \nGood communication skills in English.
