To keep scaling at this pace, our Finance function needs a technology and data foundation that can keep up.\nYour Role\nAs Finance Technology Architect, you own the long-term design of our finance landscape - SAP at the core, with the AP, reporting, integration, workflow, data and AI platforms around it - and you help make it real.\nWe need to decide which systems to invest in, how data should flow between them, and what processes to restructure. You’ll work closely with Finance leadership and IT/Enterprise Automation, and make a visible impact on the finance technology of a fast-growing, publicly listed company.\nYour tasks:\nBuild and own the finance technology backbone of Basic-Fit, including the choice between SAP-native, integration and analytics/AI solutions, and carry those choices through to implementation and production.\nDesign and document start-, transition- and target architectures, compliant with regulations and standards.\nTranslate business requirements, process pain points and program objectives into a coherent and well-defined direction, balancing short-term business value with long-term architecture health.\nDrive decision-making discipline: help leadership make timely, well-informed architecture decisions, balancing value with implementation risk.\nSupport the shift towards a scalable data platform and a less Excel-dependent, more automated Finance function.\nGrow the architectural maturity of the SAP and finance applications team: raise the bar on how we design, document and decide.\nWho are you?\nYou are an experienced Finance Technology Architect with a strong background in SAP-centric environments and finance transformation. You combine technical expertise with a deep understanding of finance processes, translate business needs into future-proof solutions, and confidently guide stakeholders through complex architecture decisions. You thrive in fast-paced, international organizations.\nAdditionally, we’re looking for someone with:\nMinimum 5 years of demonstrable experience as a solution architect in a “SAP+” environment: SAP at the core, with a broad ecosystem of complementary platforms around it (for AP, statutory reporting, integration, workflow, data, AI);\nStrong affinity with data and application integration patterns;\nStrong finance process affinity: you understand Purchase-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash well enough to support and challenge the Finance team;\nA track record spanning both B2C and B2B contexts, as Basic-Fit runs a large consumer business alongside a franchise (B2B) model;\nStrong change-management skills: able to align stakeholders and bring calm, credible direction;\nFluency in English; Dutch is a plus.\nWhat do we offer you?\nAt Basic-Fit, it’s not just about work, it’s about your growth.
