This role calls for individual talent and strong initiative, combined with a team-oriented approach. The candidate should have experience working within the digital space, excellent concepting and problem-solving skills, the ability to present work and take critical feedback. This position participates in interactive strategy discussions, needs little supervision, and inspires others to excel. The Digital Creative Designer works with team members to coordinate web projects and follow up on work to ensure deadlines are met. The successful candidate must be able to provide an online portfolio that displays a strong sense of design knowledge, typography, layout, use of color, and photography.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nCreative Design 90%\nDesign engaging promotional creative for but not limited to (homepages, emails, paid social and display ads)\nCollaborate in the development of digital concepts for multiple digital channels\nDesign within the set brand aesthetic for consistent look and feel (layout, typography, color, and graphics)\nAssist in the preparation of necessary mock-ups/prototypes for creative reviews\nPresents creative concepts and implements approved work throughout the creative process.\nKeep up to date with ongoing digital trends and best practices\nAssisting in site coding 5%\nWorking with HTML and CSS within internal content management systems (CMS)\nALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED 5%\nInternal digital creative support\nEXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:\nMinimum Degree Required: Associate Degree in Web design, Graphic design or related field\nPreferred Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Web design, Graphic design or related field\nCertificate(s) or License(s):\nExperience: 2 to 5+ years\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:\nPassion for digital design with strong attention to details\nIn-depth working knowledge of Figma and Adobe Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign)\nStrong eye for digital design (layout, typography, color, iconography, and imagery selection)\nAbility to develop and present concept while balancing established brand style guides\nExceptional collaboration and communication skills\nExperience with responsive web design and best practices\nAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environment\nMust be able to take creative direction and receive feedback in a positive manner • Working knowledge of (HTML, CSS, & JavaScript) is a plus but not required\nMust have a team-first mentality\nTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:\n(Not Applicable)\nBass Pro Shops is an equal opportunity employer.
