This role responds to maintenance requests, completes preventive maintenance, and addresses mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building repair needs while providing prompt and professional service to guests and team members.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nPerform routine maintenance and repairs involving plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, appliances, fixtures, and general building systems.\nRespond promptly to guest room, public area, and operational department maintenance requests.\nInspect equipment, facilities, and building systems to identify safety concerns, operational issues, and needed repairs.\nTroubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems and complete repairs within the scope of training and authorization.\nPerform scheduled preventive maintenance on guest rooms, equipment, machinery, and property systems.\nMonitor building systems and equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation.\nAssist with emergency maintenance situations, power interruptions, equipment failures, and other property-related incidents.\nMaintain accurate records of inspections, preventive maintenance, work orders, parts used and completed repairs.\nMaintain tools, equipment, maintenance areas, and inventories in a clean, organized, and safe condition.\nFollow all safety procedures, building codes, environmental requirements, and company policies.\nCommunicate maintenance concerns, equipment failures, and major repair needs to leadership promptly.\nCoordinate with other departments to minimize disruption to guests and business operations.\nProvide courteous and professional service when interacting with guests, team members, contractors, and vendors.\nALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED\nEXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:\nMinimum Degree Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent\nMinimum Years of experience: 2-3 years of experience in general maintenance, facilities maintenance, building engineering, or a related technical field\nRequired Certificate(s) or License(s): Possess a valid Missouri “E” or Arkansas “D” driver’s license with “P” endorsement \nPreferred Certification(s): HVAC, EPA Section 608, electrical, plumbing, or other related trade certification\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY: \nKnowledge of general building maintenance, including basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and mechanical systems.\nAbility to diagnose equipment and facility issues and perform routine repairs safely and efficiently.\nAbility to use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, ladders, and maintenance machinery.\nUnderstanding of preventive maintenance practices, workplace safety requirements, and applicable building codes.\nAbility to read and interpret equipment manuals, safety instructions, work orders, and basic technical documents.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.\nAbility to prioritize multiple work requests and respond effectively to urgent or emergency situations.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively with team members, leadership, contractors, and vendors.\nStrong communication and guest-service skills.\nTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:\nN/A\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nRegularly walks, stands, and lifts up to 50 lbs.\nOccasionally sits and works on a computer.\nAdditional Physical Requirements:\nMay be required to lift up to 100 lbs. on occasion.\nINDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:\nPerforms tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation.
