All duties to be completed in compliance with EPA, Hazmat and OSHA safety rules and regulations.\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nPerforms minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and painting repairs.\n\nMaintains inventory of repair equipment and supplies.\n\nResponds quickly in the event of an emergency, notifies appropriate personnel, and follows safety protocol.\n\nImplements preventative maintenance measures.\n\nCompletes maintenance work orders as requested.\n\nALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED\n\nEXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:\nMinimum Degree Required: High School diploma or equivalent\n\nCertificate(s) or License(s): Certified in use of fork trucks/lifts preferred or willingness to be certified.\n\nExperience: Minimum 1-year industrial maintenance preferred.\n\nKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:\nExperienced in operating a variety of equipment such as lawn mowers and small hand tools\n\nEffective written and oral communication skills\n\nAble to work well with minimal supervision\n\nAble to drive or learn to drive a forklift, tractor, etc.\n\nAbility to prioritize tasks and follow specified procedures\n\nTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:\nN/A\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\nLight lifting, under 20 lbs.\n\nLight carrying, under 20 lbs.\n\nModerate lifting, 21-59 lbs.\n\nModerate carrying, 21 - 59 lbs.\n\nStraight pulling\n\nPushing\n\nRepeated bending\n\nReaching over shoulders\n\nUse of fingers\n\nWalking\n\nStanding\n\nKneeling\n\nRepeated stretching\n\nSpecific visual requirements\n\nAbility to distinguish basic colors\n\nAbility to distinguish shades of color\n\nHearing (aid permitted)\n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\nOutside and inside\n\nExtreme heat\n\nExtreme humidity\n\nExtreme noise, intermittent\n\nDust\n\nFumes, smoke, or gasses\n\nSolvents (degreasing agents)\n\nSlippery or uneven walking surfaces\n\nINDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:\nPerforms tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures.
