The GSM will lead world class customer service and operational delivery by developing and engaging Outfitters daily in all facets of department operations including, merchandise presentation, inventory control, pricing, sales enhancements, staff selection and development.\nResponsibilities:\nSupports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.\nMeet or exceed all financial plans.\nExecute all sales events plans.\nActs as Manager on Duty and opens / closes the store.\nMaintain planograms.\nMaintain all standards of cleanliness and safe work.\nStaff the departments with “service” oriented Outfitters; participates in interviewing and selection, coordinates training, reviews and evaluates team member performance, prepares weekly work schedules, coaches and motivates Outfitters to promote positive customer relations and a productive team-oriented work environment.\nResolves customer and Outfitter issues.\nCarries out management functions in accordance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws.\nOther duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 3-5 years in retail management with responsibility for sales and merchandising.\nAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.\nAbility to read and analyze relevant reports and data.\nAbility to define problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.\nAbility to understand a variety of other financial, compliance, workplace safety and/or technical information.\nAbility to write reports and business correspondence.\nAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from others.\nAbility to conduct meetings and presentations to groups.\nStrong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain effective working relationships with others.\nStrong knowledge of/ability to learn with various office technology and software applications which relate to a retail business.\nAbility to obtain a Possession and Acquisition License (P.A.L.).\nEqual Opportunity Employer:\nBass Pro Shops is an equal opportunity employer.
