Tomorrow can’t wait, let’s shape it together!\nBritish American Tobacco Zambia has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Finance Analyst in Lusaka\nThe Corporate Finance Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization's financial operations, ensuring compliance with financial policies and statutory requirements, maintaining the integrity of financial records, and driving process improvements.\nYour key responsibilities will include:\nCoordinate treasury activities, including cash forecasting, guarantees management, and insurance administration.\nAct as the key liaison with shared service treasury teams, banks, and other financial institutions.\nPrepare and review monthly General Ledger reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely sign-off.\nEnsure supplier payments are valid, accurate, complete, and processed in accordance with agreed terms and company policies.\nEnsure accurate accounting and compliance for all applicable taxes, including VAT, Withholding Tax, PAYE, NAPSA, NHIMA, and Corporate Income Tax.\nDrive compliance with governance requirements, including delegated authorities, procurement policies, and approval frameworks.\nCoordinate with external auditors to support the timely completion of statutory and external audits.\nDevelop and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance efficiency, controls, and standardization.\nWhat are we looking for?\nA professional accountancy qualification (such as CA Zambia / ACCA / CIMA) and/or a relevant university degree in accounting.\nMinimum 2-4 years of relevant experience in Finance, Accounting, Audit, or a similar function.\nMembership with the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA) is required.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.\nHigh level of accuracy with strong attention to detail.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills.\nProficiency in SAP, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.\nZAQA-certified Grade 12 certificate and academic/professional qualifications.\nDemonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.\nWhat we offer you?\nWe offer a market leading annual performance bonus (subject to eligibility)\nOur range of benefits varies by country and includes diverse health plans, initiatives for work-life balance, transportation support, and a flexible holiday plan with additional incentives\nYour journey with us isn't limited by boundaries; it's propelled by your aspirations.
