Tomorrow can’t wait, let’s shape it together!\nCeylon Tobacco Company has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineering Executive in Colombo\nROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES\nWe are looking to recruit an Electrical Engineering Executive for our Operations Team.\nThis role is responsible to manage electrical infrastructure within the site in a safe & reliable condition and to ensure delivery of uninterrupted services for production.\nWHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR\nMaintain and repair all electrical & electronic systems at optimum level of efficiency to meet production targets and maintain relevant records of the same \nMaintain & calibrate test equipment and its standards, which are used in the factory. \nMonitor movement of electrical & electronic spares in Technical Stores and advise on maintaining stock levels in order to reduce downtime while keeping track of stock values to maintain the efficiency of machines. \nOrder placement for electrical related spares\nCreating Maintenance orders on SAP and ensuring 100% system compliance for electrical related maintenances\nImplementation of integrated work systems (IWS) , principles under the Progressive Maintenance pillar for electrical related activities.\nProvide technical training in relevant fields to up-grade technical knowledge and skills to electrical/electronic technicians to ensure a high standard of service. \nCo-ordinate projects to ensure smooth implementation and achieve objectives. \nEnsure safety of men and machinery to maintain zero accidents \nControl the production expenses and maintenance cost \nTake the charge of all Engineering activities carried out on routine or planned basis, during the night shift operations \nThe follow up BAT Guidelines and Procedures when contracting out jobs and obtaining services from contractors to CTC standards. \nESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE\nIETI / NDES / CGTTI (Electrical and Electronic with 5 years experience in relevant field)\nNDT (Electronics) with 3 years experience in relevant field \nC&G (Electronics) full Technical Certificate with 5 years experience in the relevant field. \nKnowledge on IEE Electrical Regulations and Systems, experience in controlling skilled technicians and ability in negotiating engineering contracts with prospective bidders. \nKnowledge and experience in PLC systems\nKnowledge on Test equipment & calibration techniques. \nKnowledge on predictive maintenance.\nWhat we offer you?\nWe offer a market leading annual performance bonus (subject to eligibility)\nOur range of benefits varies by country and includes diverse health plans, initiatives for work-life balance, transportation support, and a flexible holiday plan with additional incentives\nYour journey with us isn't limited by boundaries; it's propelled by your aspirations.
