The Scientist Modern Oral Deploy will work cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders to support product formulation, commercialization activities, technical submissions, manufacturing support, and product quality initiatives. This position offers a unique combination of laboratory, office, and operational responsibilities within an innovative product development environment.\nYour key responsibilities will include:\nSupport the development, science-based testing, characterization, and deployment of next-generation modern oral products.\n\nConduct product formulation activities, product testing, and data interpretation to support new product offerings.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to execute product development and commercialization projects.\n\nSupport commercialization activities including product specifications, technical submissions, manufacturing support, and quality initiatives.\n\nIndependently engage with local and global stakeholders and external partners to drive successful project outcomes.\n\nWhat are we looking for?\nBachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in Food Chemistry, Food Science, Food Technology, Applied Materials, or a related scientific field.\n\n3-5 years of industry or research experience in product development, formulation, or related scientific disciplines.\n\nStrong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines.\n\nExperience working in laboratory environments and operating equipment such as pH meters, moisture analyzers, balances, and mixers.\n\nStrong attention to detail, compliance mindset, and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.\n\nBeneficial\nExperience within consumer goods industries such as food, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, or related sectors.\nKnowledge of flavoring systems, powder blending, product formulation, processing technologies, and functional ingredients.\nExperience supporting pilot-scale or manufacturing-scale product build and validation activities.\nWE ARE REYNOLDS AMERICAN-A member of the BRITISH AMERICAN TOBACCO GROUP\nAt Reynolds American, we are committed to our Purpose of creating A Better Tomorrow.
